I went downtown to the civic theater with Stacey to see RENT. It was much better than the movie. The two leads from the original production starred in it. I found Roger’s singing style to be annoying after a while, but I was happy. After, Stacey and I went to the [...] Stacey and I went to see the Watchmen at the AMC 12 in La Jolla. Overall, it was good. I liked that they played with the idea of a common enemy being a uniting factor even if that common enemy isn’t really an enemy at all. There was a struggle between teleological and deontological ethics [...] Stacey and I saw The Shadow Box at Scripps Ranch Theater at Alliant University. It was a collection of three little stories interspersed together with nothing but the theme of terminally ill patients at some kind of retreat to tie them together. It wasn’t horrible, but it seemed like the same note played over and [...] I drove Stacey to Balboa Park to look around, but it turns out that this was the day of December nights. It was crowded, despite being only around 4pm. We went to Coronado instead. We went to Coronado and had the ‘phone home sunday’ at Moo Time Creamery. It was good. Then [...] Stacey and I drove to Old Town and then took the trolley downtown to Rei do Gado. The food was really good (mostly). We especially liked the bacon-wrapped file Mignon, and the Sirloin. There was a jackalope on the wall which I took a picture of. Next, we saw Australia at the pacific theater [...] 
The Lost Skeleton Returns Again (2008) I freakin’ loved the first one. I can’t wait to see the sequal. 
The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra Stacey and I watched The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra at her house it was pretty awesome. After that, we met a bunch of Stacey’s friends at the Edwards Cinema in Mira Mesa. We ate a little at Islands, and then watched Zack and Miri Make a Porn Movie. It [...] A Best Buy guy showed up at Stacey’s condo this morning and tightened some connection in her washing machine. Unfortunately, the hose started leaking later, so they will replace the hose. Stacey and I had a nice time staying in and sort of napping. We finished Into The Woods. Later, Nicole and Lola Faley came [...] Stacey and I went to the Mystery Cafe and saw The Good, The Bad, and the Udderly Ridiculous. It was very funny and a good time. The villain Zeke, was killed by poisoned chili by Jane, whom everyone thought was blind. We have to set aside the improbability of a woman in a small town [...] |
