I got a job working at South El Monte High School as a chemistry and biology teacher. This summer I packed up all my belongings and moved to Pico Rivera. I’ve had the computer that this blog was on packed up in storage for months now, so there has been very little posting. But now [...] This is perhaps one of the most awesome discoveries of all time! The free windows application HuluGrabber is working in linux under Wine!!! I’m downloading InuYasha the Final Act right now. So far it looks pretty good. I just finished watching an anime series called Rumbling Hearts last night. I was really impressed. I was expecting it to be about fighting because of the word “rumbling”, but it’s really a melodramatic roller-coaster ride of love, betrayal, guilt, heart-ache, regret, and obligation. The set-up is, from what I understand of anime, fairly typical. [...] 
While Stacey waited for Whirlpool to come by and fix her washer/dryer, I went to Crazee Burger in North Park and brought over Farscape season 2. Crazee Burger was rather small, and busy. It took a long time to get my burgers. I got the Aloha burger for Stacey, and the Texas burger for me [...] I got a call from Don this morning saying that he’d approved my day off, so I didn’t have to come in. I slept in and then went to Stacey’s house. Stacey had cooked some barbecue for me and she gave be a book about meat, and the soundtrack to Into the Woods. We watched a bunch of episodes of Angel and I spent the night and went to work the next morning.
After work, I went to Stacey’s parents’ house and watched Dancing with the Stars. After that, we watched Boston Legal, which dealt with the tobacco industry and with impotence. The end strained credulity a little as Alan and Denny danced with pieces of a cheer-leader uniform. That part was also a [...] I went to the mall to get Stacey some cinnamon buns from cinnabun, but it wasn’t there any more. I brought over some spinach and broccoli stuffed pizza from sbarro, and some grilled chicken from KFC. We ate while watching the first episode of Smallville. Stacey and I hung out today and watched “The [...] I went to Stacey’s Parents’ house for a traditional Filipino meal cooked by Lola Faley. The fish was pretty fishy (Tilapia) and very salty, and the dish that Stacey was excited about wasn’t anything to write home about. (Just blog about) Afterwards, we all went to Synergy. There were tons of people there and [...] Stacey had planned on an 80s movie night, but I was the only one who showed up. We watched some Alias, played with June, Ate a little food, and that was about it |
