While doing some training about child abuse reporting, I ran into something completely idiotic.
They’d have pictures of abused children and the link would say something such as, “Warning: image may contain graphic content.”
All pictures are graphic content BY DEFINITION!
It pisses me off that the phrase, “graphic content” has become a stand-in for the phrase, “disturbing images”. Β Stop trying to sound fancy or formal and just call a spade a spade!
So stupid….
